Person-centered therapy

Individual focused treatment, otherwise called individual focused psychotherapy, individual focused directing, customer focused treatment and Rogerian psychotherapy, is a type of psychotherapy created by analyst Carl Rogers starting during the 1940s and reaching out into the 1980s. Individual focused treatment tries to encourage a customer's self-realizing inclination, "an inbuilt proclivity toward development and satisfaction", through acknowledgment (unrestricted positive respect), advisor compatibility (validity), and empathic agreement.
