Neuropsychology and Behavioral Neuroscience

Neuropsychology and Behavioral Neuroscience examine the relationship between brain function, cognition, emotions, and human behaviour. This track explores neurological processes underlying memory, attention, decision-making, emotional regulation, and psychological disorders. Sessions will focus on brain-behavior relationships, neurocognitive assessments, neurological rehabilitation, and the impact of brain injuries and neurodegenerative conditions on mental health. Participants will gain insights into the scientific foundations of behaviour and advances in neuropsychological research.

The track also addresses innovations in neuroimaging, cognitive neuroscience, brain plasticity, and neuroscience-informed therapies. Experts will discuss conditions such as dementia, traumatic brain injury, autism spectrum disorders, and psychiatric illnesses from a neurobehavioral perspective. Research presentations will highlight interdisciplinary approaches that integrate psychology, neuroscience, and clinical practice to improve diagnosis and treatment outcomes. This track aims to advance scientific understanding of the brain and support evidence-based interventions in mental healthcare.
